Last year at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), LG launched a prototype of OLED TV of 65-inch that rolled when pressed a button. At that time the newly launched prototype not only attracted customers but also left everyone spellbound by simpler design and beautiful aesthetics.
Now the Korean giant is back with a bang with the rollable TV for real. On January 8 they launched the world’s first OLED that is rollable. It is called the LG Signature OLED TV R 65R9– Yes, it seriously rolls down rather disappears on pressing a button.
What each one of us has seen is the regular TV with the actual display but in the case of LG Signature OLED TV R, there are three operational modes.
These modes are a complete view, partial view, and zero views. In case of a full view— the amazing rollable TV comes out and a user can view the TV on full-screen 65-inches display. In case you want to close it, then press the ‘Zero View’ option and it vanishes smoothly.
If you want to view the TV partially then you can press the ‘line view’—- User can view partially as much required. The TV also boasts of amazing features like clock, frame, and music. These features will help the user to effortlessly check the time and also view the family album.
Unlike ‘Zero View’ mode in a laptop, the Signature OLED TV R does not sleep completely, users can easily play music in Zero Mode. Its front Dolby Atmos audio system helps in doing so.
If you thought these were the features that you can expect of a dream Tv then you are wrong, in the LG Signature OLED TV R you have Amazon Alexa on board— this means you can ask Alexa to play songs, movies and also weather updates.
This TV also supports Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit. So, effortlessly stream videos, music, and photos of Apple devices on to LG’s rollable TV.
