A washing machine has become an integral part of our life. Whether there is a small blotch on a shirt or tough dirt, the washing machine has the ability to get rid of all of them.
While the concept of the washing machine was first introduced in the 18th century there is constant innovation and development in functioning and design. Most of the washers; be it semi-automatic or fully-automatic all of them come with smart functionality that makes the machine smarter.
These are the two modern technologies and features that make the washing machine really improved.
What is twin wash and flex wash
While buying a washing machine the biggest dilemma is whether to opt for a front loading or top loading, to solve this problem Samsung has a path-breaking technology that has both front and top load.
Flex wash is one of the most innovative washing technologies that make the washing machine flexible so that it can switch to any of the loadings depending on the usage of the user.
In this machine, you would find a huge loading space of 21 kg in front load and 3.5 kg space in top load.
So, a user can use both the loaders together; while the front-loading can be used for washing of heavy items, top loading can be used for washing small items.
Even LG has introduced this concept of two drums in its latest introduction called ‘twin wash’. While one drum is huge and is used to wash heavy clothes such as bed sheet, the mini drum is used to wash small delicate items. The gigantic drum has a capacity of 20 kg.
Bubbles and O2 wash
The technology of ‘bubble’ wash is used by companies such as IFB and Samsung. As the term sounds it has something to do with bubbles. Using this technology your washing machine converts detergent used for washing into bubbles for better cleaning. Since Indian mostly wash their clothes in cold water so the technology is developed in such a manner that it is effective in cold water.
How does it work
Well, detergent particles are inflated into bubbles and penetrate inside the clothes and wash them effectively. This technology is used by Samsung and is named as ‘EcoBubble’.
This technology is used by IFB and works in a similar line of eco bubble technology.
